Weaving Classes

image714

Linda Hartshorn and Nancy Kennedy are pleased to announce that weaving classes can resume at the Ink People weaving studio. Covid-19 protocol will be followed. There will be three students and one instructor in the studio at a time. Wearing masks and social distancing will be required. Disinfectant wipes will be available to clean surfaces as needed. Each person will be asked to bring hand sanitizer.
Each instructor can take up to three students. Looms will be assigned to conform to socially distanced spacing.
The class format will be independent projects. Beginning students are welcome. Each student will be entitled to three hours of instruction per week for eight weeks. Some independent studio time will be necessary and can be arranged with the instructor so that there are no more than three students there at a time. The Ink People limits how many people can be in the building at a time during their open hours.
The class schedule will be determined by consensus. Both instructors have fairly flexible schedules at this time, so classes could be in the evenings or perhaps in the daytime.  We will work around the upcoming holidays. This is all to be decided once people have signed up.
The instructors will meet with their students by appointment prior to the beginning of classes to determine project and needed materials.
The cost per student is $250.00, including a $50.00 deposit at the time you sign up for the class. Checks can be made out to the instructor.
