The Humboldt Handweavers and Spinners Guild was established in 1971 - Henrietta Chizzola is listed as our Charter Member. Membership has grown to 80+ over the years.
The guild provides an exhibit and demonstrations yearly at the Humboldt County Fair in August with a Sheep To Shawl event. We also sponsor awards for Natural Fiber entries at the fair.
The guild participates in the Natural Fiber Fair each September with sponsorship and a Fiber Circle gathering area.
The guild has monthly meetings with textile programs.
